• Providenciales

Providenciales is an overseas territory of the United Kingdom. It is the third largest island in the Turks and Caicos Islands at 98km squared and is the most populated island with over 15,000 residents. The island offers a mix of long white beaches, rugged hills and ridges and barren wildnerness all surrounded by turquoise water.

The island has been developing steadily over the last 25 years for residency and tourism and many hotel resorts, restaurants and shops have opened in the Grace Bay area. Providenciales is also popular with wealthy retirees and celebrities who have built luxury homes throughout the island.

The island is served by Providenciales International Airport and serves many of the major airlines including those flying out of New York, Miami and London.

• Turks and Caicos Islands

The Turks and Caicos Islands consists of two groups of tropical islands, the larger Caicos Islands and the smaller Turks Islands, and are all British overseas territory. There are 30 islands although only eight of those are inhabited. It is known for tourism and as an offshore financial centre.

The climate on the Turks and Caicos Islands is typical of the Caribbean, with relatively consistent temperatures throughout the course of the year. Summertime temperatures rarely exceed the low 90’s and average the 70’s in the winter months.
